Mae Plas Sgeti Coleg Gŵyr Abertawe ar fin cael ei hadnewyddu o dan gynlluniau datblygu arfaethedig newydd.

Bydd yr adeilad rhestredig Gradd II, sydd wedi’i leoli ar diroedd hardd ger Parc Singleton, yn cael ei ail-leoli fel Ysgol Fusnes, yn gartref i amrywiaeth eang o gyrsiau proffesiynol yn ogystal â chymwysterau lefel uwch a phrentisiaethau gradd.

Mae’r Coleg yn falch o gyhoeddi bod y prosiect hwn wedi cael arian cyfatebol 65% gan Lywodraeth Cymru trwy ei Raglen Ysgolion ac Addysg yr 21ain Ganrif.

Bydd y prosiect, wedi’i ategu gan £1.46 miliwn o Raglen Ysgolion ac Addysg yr 21ain Ganrif Llywodraeth Cymru, yn helpu i ddatblygu’r Ysgol Fusnes i ddiwallu anghenion dysgwyr y dyfodol.

Nod Rhaglen Ysgolion ac Addysg yr 21ain Ganrif yw trawsnewid profiad dysgu myfyrwyr, gan sicrhau eu bod yn cael eu haddysgu mewn ystafelloedd dosbarth gyda’r technolegau a’r cyfleusterau sydd eu hangen i gyflwyno cwricwlwm yr 21ain Ganrif.

Gower College Swansea’s Sketty Hall is set for renovation under proposed new development plans.

The Grade II listed building, nestled in beautiful grounds close to Singleton Park, will be repurposed as a Business School, home to a wide range of professional courses as well as higher-level qualifications and degree apprenticeships.

The College is pleased to announce that this project has been 65% match funded by the Welsh Government through its 21st Century Schools and Education Programme.

The project, backed with £1.46 million from the Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools and Education Programme, will help develop the Business School to meet the needs of future learners.

The 21st Century Schools and Education Programme aims to transform the learning experience of students, ensuring they are taught in classrooms with the technologies and facilities needed to deliver a 21st Century curriculum.
